Assange Betrayed

When Julian Assange was interviewed by documentary maker Mark Davis in 2011, it is widely believed that Davis was tailed by Australian security personnel working in close cooperation with their US and European counterparts.

The tailing was not always by men in trench coats. Much of it was in the form of electronic surveillance including a concealed eves dropping device believed to have been lodged in a camera operated by Davis.

It is not known nor is it being suggested that Mark Davis, a former SBS TV journalist, was aware of his tail.

WHY JULIAN ASSANGE IS VULNERABLE- ITS NOT JUST THE CIA

Julian Assange’s misfortunes are not the result of the work of US counter intelligence alone. Assange was readily betrayed by former Prime Ministers, Kevin Rudd, Tony Abbott, Malcolm Turnbull and Julia Gillard. Each of these former leaders viewed Assange as a threat to not just the US and to Western security alliance. They viewed him as a threat to their personal and political reputations and to the sanctimonious narratives they authored about themselves.

It has been argued that if Assange was able to penetrate and breach the inner sanctum of the world’s most secure and seemingly impregnable security organizations, the US military and the CIA, a logical conclusion to draw would be that he could (as he did) breach the collective and individual security of these former prime ministers of Australia and others in government.

Julie Bishop for her part feared for leaks about her unofficial and risky association with the NED -National Endowment for Democracy-.

The NED is a CIA funded and controlled Regime Change outfit involved in nefarious clandestine activities designed to destabilize Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong. Bishop, it is known, was paid by the NED for her Regime Change work.

The former head of the NED, Carl Gershman, in 2023 identified Julie Bishop’s contacts within Malaysia’s NED in a televised and open boast of the NED’s “pro democracy” activities in Malaysia. Sources close to Bishop in Malaysia and Myanmar confirm her links to the NED.

Bishop’s greatest fear though was and remains the rumour, that some of her indiscretions in unguarded mements at a casino hotel owned by the late Stanley Ho in Macau was caught on camera.

It is believed that the event was captured by Chinese intelligence during one of her high profile government business junkets to China and Macau with Jamie Packer.

JULIE BISHOP, TONY ABBOTT, MALCOLM TURNBULL, THE GREENS, KEVIN RUDD AND JULIA GILLARD

Bishop and Abbott have both been the recipients of the financial largesse of Chinese spies operating within Australia at the time.

One of these posed as a benefactor of the Sydney University of Technology whilst the other as a successful property developer.

Both Huang Xiangmo and Chau Chak Wing had reportedly donated to over $6.7 million to various political parties in Australia. Huang’s and Chau’s beneficiaries included the Greens, the ALP and the Liberals.

The payments they made were not political donations. The $250,000 paid to Julie Bishop and $700,000 to Tony Abbott purportedly towards their respective re-election campaigns were undoubtedly bribes.

The payments were made to influence Australian government policy towards China and to secure Australia’s support for a number of Chinese political and commercial initiatives internationally.

Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard whether they acknowledge it or not were also recipients of Chinese government ‘incentives’ and ‘donations’ via third parties.

The Chinese have always been careful as to how they managed their payments to Australia’s politicians in return for favours they expected from them. The Chinese were regularly fed with information on the impact of these transactions by moles within ASIO including Roger Uren and his wife Sherry Yan.

Gillard’s undisclosed receipt of millions of dollars from foreign governments and their operatives include the US$2,000,000.00 per annum from the insolvent and illegitimate (Hillary) Clinton Foundation.

The quantum of Chinese gifts to Gillard during her tenure as Prime Minister is in many ways concealed by sympathetic elements within Australian media circles. Gillard is believed to have received money from the Clinton foundation immediateely prior to her toppling of Kevin Rudd in 2010 according to a former staffer.

Gillard and Rudd one will remember paid over US$300,000,000 of Australian taxpayers money to the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign without making proper disclosures to the Australian public.

There was hardly any financial probity or accountability within the Rudd Gillard governments. Julie Bishop and Tony Abbott were no different. Bishop’s loyalties it appears were significantly aligned with those of Gillard’s even though Bishop was a Liberal member member of parliament.

Assange is believed to have unconvered and salted away significant details of correspondence flowing between Gillard, Rudd, Bishop and Hillary Clinton which could be very damaging to the reputations of each of them and the governments they led. They may be called to account for their conduct at some later date.

Malcolm Turnbull’s companies, including companies owned by his clients when he was Goldman Sachs Australia, received cash infusions to the tune of millions of dollars in investments from Chinese controlled nominee companies. Malcolm was never questioned about these transactions by his interlocutors in the media.

The muted reaction of Australia’s ministry of foreign affairs following the arrest of Jamie Packer’s gambling junket promoter employees in China, has long fuelled suspicion that Julie Bishop and others like her within government were compromised by China’s intelligence service.

USEFUL IDIOTS

Finally, there is the case of former New South Wales Premier Bob Carr and his late Malaysian born part Chines wife Helena Carr. Companies controlled by Helena’s relatives in Malaysia were likewise the recipients of millions of Chinese investment dollars which she and Bob Carr failed to declare.

There is significantly more about Chinese ‘investments’ in the Australian government over the years. And they cover the entire spectrum of influence from senior public servants, politicians and judges in Queensland, New South Wales, Canberra and Victoria.

Julian Assange is believed to have complied extensive dirt files on these high profile transactions. For some unknown reason he has thus far withheld disclosing details of it to the public.

So why weren’t any of these scandals pursued by government or made public by the media for the rest of us to know about?

Well, it is said that Julian Assange and the many ‘flowers of his revolution’ -his followers and associates-have recently begun to spread the results of their endevours by publishing bits and pieces in clandestine leaks on the dark web of what Assange and his associates had gathered and kept in store for over a decade .

Assange’s fate was sealed by Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard after the Kevin 7 campaign. The US saw Kevin Rudd as a useful idiot that could dig a tunnel into China as opposed to a bridge which the Chinese would have treated with suspicion.

The Chinese had a preference for Rudd as a PR tool for their interests in Australia and the West. They did not view Rudd as that political heavyweight he perceived himself to be according to a retired Chinese academic at Beijing University who once served in Australia. Gillard in his view was viewed by China being unstable, unpredictable and of little use to the Chinese except as a gateway to other more useful people in her government.

Assange was and remains the subject of heated debates and discussions between the board, members and staff of Australia’s national broadcaster the ABC.

Many at the ABC continue to support Assange. A vocal minority within the board and a handful of NED operatives within ABC’s staff though do not. And their opposition to Assange is not out of a political or moral conviction but one of self-preservation. The fear of being exposed as agents of the NED is at the centre of their fear of Assange.

Unless there is a groundswell of pro Assange opinion within Australia, the government of Albanese has no incentive to stand in the way of the US extraditing Assange from Belmarsh prison in the UK to the US.

  1. The hyopcrisy of the Australian government paying lip service to Julian Assange whilst betraying him. Assange is a real hero of democracy and the truth. Condemning Putin for the death of Alexander Navalny and ignoring Assange is a blantant hypocrisy and a denial of our rights to free speech and the truth.

    FREE JULIAN ASSANGE NOW!!

  2. If Assange were around and free today, we would have discovered the truth behind the 7 October Palestinian resistance retributive attacks against Israel and its extremist settler paramilitaries and the truth about the US elections 4 years ago. Assange must not be extradited to the US. It has no extraterritorial rights to exercise against the UK.

  3. Thank you for a wonderful article about a wonderful human being. “Lest we forget”.

  4. Niether the Liberals or the ALP will be able to form a government if Julian Assange is sent to the US. There is a different generation and a different mindset with different values and perspectives of politics at work in Australia today. Pay regard to us.

  5. Sorry correction there. Gillard and Rudd diverted $480,000,000 of our money to the Hillary Clinton campaign. They had neither the right nor the purpose for that support. It could have only been an exercise in ‘brown nosing’ the loser Clinton and advancing the causes of middle class white feminists. The overall objective was for Gillard, Rudd and Hillary to push for ME2 governments all over the Western world. They need to be bought to account on this matter

  6. What Covid and photoshopping of politics has done to our children. They gather in records numbers like robots to worship icons of the brainless. Taylor Swift and Barbie Doll whilst the world around us burns.
